Tibet Mass Lobby - Westminster
Recent events in Tibet have added extra importance to this year's annual Tibet Mass Lobby. This takes place at the Houses of Parliament, Westminster 7 March or locally that week in local constituencies. There will also be a Freedom March through central London Saturday 10 March, ending up outside the Chinese Embassy,
The annual march commemorates the 1959 Tibetan National Uprising. The lobby is important to ensure a robust message is sent to the British Government that action is needed now to end the brutal suppression of Tibetans who speak up for their rights.
Britain should be seen to be supporting Tibetans who seek justice, freedom and fundamental human rights, as it has done for other oppressed people around the world.
